303 Squadron: Battle of Britain portrays the life of WWII heroes from an unique perspective. Joining the 303 Squadron you will fight with other pilots in realistic history-based battles, but also repair your planes in 1st Person Mechanic Mode. The open world of RAF Northolt Base allows you to experience the daily life’s struggles of War and discover countless additional side-missions.

Thanks to the variety of available roles, you will be able to embrace the real life of Fighter Squadron and get to know the importance of each role- from the ground crew to the pilot.

The gameplay is entirely based on historical events. The 303 Squdadron was well-known for its bravado, fearless attitude, precision and professionalism. During the WWII, they were one of the most effective units of Royal Air Force.

  The controls in this game are some of the worst i\u00b4ve ever seen. I thought he other reviews were exaggerating but jesus christ.
  I spent a good 4 minutes trying to get guns on a plane going literally straight in arcade mode in the first mission, and mouse controls are inverted by default in realistic mode with no way of changing it.
  The flight physics aren\u00b4t anything to write home about either, which tells me this isnt\u00b4t the type of game you\u00b4d want to play with a stick.
  
  I\u00b4d say stay away from it unless they completely redesign the control scheme.. The game is overall a very good flying game that links to great historical events though it is not yet complete and needs a bit more work. I have around 2 hours into this game and I am loving it but there is a long road ahead. My main issue is taht you have no way to invert controls in acrcade mode and realistic mode feels to sluggish to have fun with. Also the kill cam is cool but everytime I get a get a kill cam my camera view goes crazy and I end up inverted or inside of my plane. I will continue to play the game in the hopes that things will get better over time.. In the skies above the isle

  Fight the pilot in exile!. It is very arcadish sim, a bit like Microprose Dogfight in 1993. No take off/landing. Forget about what you've learned in other sims. Mouse + W + S for steering. Q + E for left/right adjustment for shooting and you should be an ace. The game offers virtual airfield and aircraft mechanic features that lets you know what it is like to be a pilot between flights. 303 squadron was the best scoring squadron in the Battle of Britain (126 reported kills, even with 50-58 kills that were confirmed after the war - all allied pilot reliability in reporting was of 50% order). Not an ambitious game, but I had fun, being WW II history buff. Niech żyje Polska!. I really wanted to like this game but unfortunately its a no. I find the premise fantastic and the story of the 303 is one that is amazing, however for a game that is about mechanics and flying it does neither well. The mechanics side is ok, not super in depth but enjoyable, however the flying mechanics are awful, the aircraft does not respond well and left and right inputs aren't great as the aircraft is clearly designed for flying with a keyboard. If this is updated and the game optimised, my fps weren't horrible but far from what i should get realistically. Then yes worth the buy, but at this current stage no.. First this game is a good try, i hope the maker can finish this game as soon as possbile, and bring us a game about other squadrons or other theaters, such as USSAF or luftwaffe, (thumb up give to the maker caz your team had answer:))))
  Accurately i met some problem when i play this game
  -bad control in the realistic mode, even i can't aim in a enemy plane, i can't use the keyborad to dogfight with the bf109s, the response of the plane is so slow and hard. before i played, i think it will similar to Warthunder.but accurately it is a far cry from warthunder
  -poor textures
  -low fps
  -the part which can modification of the planes is too little
  
  ps:English is not my first language , so if there are any grammatical errors, pls forgive:))). Game is super fun. Love the time period and its getting constant updates. You can play it in arcade or "cockpit" mode and personalize the loadout of your plane. This game is perfect for the upcoming 303 squadron WW2 movie!!!!. This is a lot of fun, it has it's issues (look at every other review), but I trust these wonderful devs are working as hard as they can. If you can deal with some issues, pick it up now, but if you want a polished, finished product, wait a few months.
